Ophelia

THE GAME

Ophelia is a 2D platform adventure game in which the player controls a lost girl scout named Jezebel. She must walk through levels defeating enemies, overcoming challenges and destroying obstacles by using her elemental powers.

THE STORY

The girl scout Jezebel was traveling with other girl scouts when, after an event, she saw herself lost in a forest of a magical world where she started to be followed by a mystical entity called Ifauna. In search of answers and in possession of her yo-yo, the girl decided to venture to find her friends and get out if that place infested by elemental monster, such as fire insects.

THE GAMEPLAY

The player will count on Jezebel's yo-yo to imobilize the enemies or to destroy crystals to collect gems with the power of four elements: plant, fire, water and earth. With these powers, it will be possible to inflict fire damage on a plant type enemy or build a path of rocks to cross an abism.

NEXT STEPS

This demo is only a small sample of what is yet to come. The goal of the team is to show the potential of the project and then develop the final version of Ophelia, which will include mechanics enhancements, better interaction with the scenario and deeper narrative, exploring the mysteries of the universe Jezebel is in.
